Message side. The connecter is likely corroded. Due to it being a pain in the ass to do work back there, once you clean the connector and use di-electric grease to reduce any more corrosion(which I recommend on all connectors), take both rubber hoses off the IACV and spray a bunch of WD-40 in there. Some have also said CARB cleaner works to break up any crap that's in there. This can fix the idle issue permanently, or sometimes temporary.
